Academic Outcomes

We expect students to demonstrate measurable growth in reading/literacy and mathematics, supported by data, excellent teaching, and timely intervention. Because Excellence Academy is designed to serve low-income, underserved, Black and Brown students, students with learning differences, and first-generation college-bound students, our academic goal is not simply access, it is accelerated learning with support.

Whole-Child Learning

We want students to become strong readers, thoughtful writers, capable problem-solvers, clear communicators, and lifelong learners. We also want them to become disciplined, resilient, collaborative, and prepared for college, career, entrepreneurship, and calling.

Reading and math baseline, bi-monthly, monthly, and quarterly progress monitoring, intervention response, grade-level movement, proof of gains.

Attendance & Engagement / MEASURE

Daily attendance, interest surveys, chronic absenteeism counts, retention rates, family participation, engagement assessments, and extended-day participation.

Postsecondary Readiness / MEASURE

Graduation rates, life skills proficiencies, life map assessments and surveys, college/trade/military/workforce placement scores, scholarships, apprenticeships, and certifications earned.
